Growing for Larger Kitchens Too

In an effort to accomplish our goal of being a sustainable family farm, we diversify our farming operation in many ways. We extend our markets as much as possible so that we can protect our familyʼs way-of-life on our farm. With todayʼs growing population and demands for food, Americaʼs food system gives us many choices for how and where we source and enjoy our food. Aiming to make a difference in not only our farm economy with vegetable production, but in that of Kentuckyʼs, we raise lots of variety to be distributed to local schools, chefs and caterers, hospitals, restaurants, grocery stores, special events, and many other venues.

We appreciate the opportunity to provide locally raised food for the Commonwealth. With the changing demands our stateʼs agriculture is faced with, it is important for you to communicate your desires to have local foods available at your favorite restaurants and grocery stores. We are most thankful for referrals, whether it is another family to join our CSA or your local diner. If you, or you know of someone who may be interested in purchasing food, weʼd welcome the interest!  The biggest compliment you can give to us is a referral….whether that is another CSA member or a family friend who looks for “Courtney Farms” raised vegetables at their local grocery!
